The most effective and natural way of absorbing carbon emissions

We’re sharing an article that appeared in Time Magazine’s September issue. It’s encouraging to read how others around the world are also working to create sustainable solutions to some of the worlds biggest problems. This article highlights that unlike tree planting or re-forestation, seaweed doesn’t require fresh water or fertilisers and grows at a much faster rate than trees, expanding by up to two feet a day. But more importantly, seaweed’s biggest comparative advantage is that it does not compete for demands on land.
