High Level Panel for a Sustainable Ocean Economy

Namibia is one of the 12 countries who have pledged their support for developing sustainable ocean economies. These countries share a common ambition for the ocean. Together, they committed to  rebalancing  our relationship with the ocean by effectively protecting habitats and wildlife, producing sustainably and cultivating an equitable and prosperous ocean economy.

This initiative comes from the World Resources Institute, World Resources Institute who have established a world-class and globally-representative Secretariat to serve as the hub of an outstanding international research and communications network and support the work of the Ocean Panel, the Expert Group and the Advisory Network.
