We are looking to hire a spectacular multi-faceted COO.
You will be responsible for the integrity and effectiveness of our business. The COO is a key member of the senior management team.
You will control diverse business operations across geographies of stupendous natural beauty: Namibia, New Zealand, Alaska… We operate in the ocean, in remote areas, often far offshore. These places are wild, awe-inspiring… and dangerous.
What we are doing is in many ways unique, though we build on established practices. We seek to innovate, simplify, develop elegant solutions to physical and human challenges, and we seek to do so in harmony between humans and nature. We operate locally, with local suppliers and local staff.
Our purpose is to have positive impact on the oceans. To achieve this, we must mobilise huge amounts of capital – and to attract that capital we need to generate highly attractive financial returns.
In the next 12-18 months our goal is to become revenue-generating, then profitable; to become a bankable, lighthouse project for an exciting new nature-based solution – in at least 3 different countries.
You will be fundamental to achieving this.
