Fucoidans and fucoxanthins, with their anti-oxidant and anti-cancerous properties, are an effective ingredient for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and cosmeceutical industry.
PLANET HEALTH
Alginates, which are only found in brown seaweed, are the cornerstone input for biodegradable films and packaging, allowing for less reliance on plastic. They are also input materials for seaweed based textiles.
ANIMAL HEALTH
Lipids, proteins, sugars and the overall effect of the seaweed on animal gut health make it a perfect animal feed supplement—allowing farmers to use fewer antibiotics.
