Joost de Willebois is the founder and owner of Domaine J. de Villebois, a family-run winery in France's Loire Valley.
Originally from the Netherlands, Joost descends from a French lineage dating back to 1180. In 2004, he and his wife, Miguela, acquired a 10-hectare vineyard in Mareuil-sur-Cher, marking the beginning of their winemaking journey.
They focused on producing Sauvignon Blanc, aiming to become specialists in this varietal within the Loire region. Over the years, the domaine expanded its reach across key appellations like Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé, and Menetou-Salon.
Joost transitioned from a career in finance to dedicate himself fully to winemaking, emphasizing sustainable practices. Today, Domaine J. de Villebois is recognized for its high-quality Sauvignon Blancs and commitment to environmental management.
Ambassador card
The soil microbiome plays a critical role in optimizing crop yields, nutrition, and stress resilience. To assess the impact of StimBlue+ on the microbial pathways essential for wine grape development, we partnered with Biome Makers, a leader in assessing soil health at scale. Through their rigorous analysis, we examined the influence of StimBlue+ on soil microorganisms and their functions, providing incredible insights into how our product enhances soil health and vine performance. The tests were done on the vineyards of Domaine J. de Villebois.
Testimonial from BiomeMakers:
"With StimBlue+, we saw a unique boost in nutrient availability. Even through foliar application, BeCrop analysis confirmed these effects across fields, highlighting the reach and effectiveness of this biostimulant" Juan Rebori, BiomeMakers

Marcos Esteve
Marcos Esteve Pamias is a Spanish farmer, mechanical engineer, and full-stack developer leading a cutting-edge precision agriculture initiative on his family's 220-hectare farm in Valdorba, northern Spain. Specializing in wheat, barley, and oats, he integrates advanced technologies to enhance sustainability and efficiency in farming practices.
Marcos transitioned from organic to precision farming in 2017, aiming to reduce environmental impact and resource use. His approach includes:
Drone and Satellite Imagery: Utilizing multispectral drones and platforms like PIX4Dfields and SatAgro to monitor crop health and identify issues such as weed infestations.
Targeted Applications: Creating prescription maps for variable-rate applications of herbicides and fertilizers, leading to significant cost savings and reduced chemical usage.
Real-Time Weather Data: Employing iMETOS 3.3 weather stations to optimize spraying times and improve decision-making based on localized forecasts.
These practices have resulted in a 56% reduction in herbicide costs and enhanced overall farm sustainability. Beyond farming, Marcos contributes to agricultural innovation by developing a virtual fertilization advisor to further optimize nutrient applications.

Boris Spassky & Martin d'Archimbaud
GreenPods is a regenerative agriculture company specialising in organic almond and olive production across France and Spain.
Founded in 2020 by Boris Spassky and Martin d’Archimbaud, the company focuses on converting degraded farmland into productive, climate-resilient orchards, aiming to meet the growing demand for plant-based, locally sourced food.
GreenPods operates two primary farms:
- La Granja (France): Located near Toulouse, this 150-hectare farm is France’s largest regenerative organic almond orchard. It features 64 hectares of almond trees and has achieved the Label Bas Carbone certification, with an estimated 4,575 tons of CO₂ sequestration over 20 years.
- La Esperanza (Spain): Situated in Aragon, this 105-hectare farm is undergoing conversion to organic and regenerative agriculture. Plans include planting 52 hectares of olive trees and expanding almond cultivation to 50 hectares.
GreenPods aims to manage 2,000 hectares of regenerative orchards across Europe within the next few years, targeting the planting of over 600,000 trees.
