Almonds

Independent trials show significant benefits of StimBlue+ on almonds under both standard and drought-stress conditions. StimBlue+ was compared to an untreated control.

INCREASED YIELD

Under standard condition, the application of StimBlue+ at 2-3 litres per hectare yields better results for:

• Number of almonds per tree
• Almonds' weight

Overall, plots treated with StimBlue+ show 10% higher results compared to control.

Under drought stressors, at a 2 litres per hectare dosage, StimBlue+ generates a greater yield between 5-8%. Drought stressors were simulated by reducing irrigation availability per plot:

• 100% optimal irrigation level;
• 70% sub-optimal irrigation level;
• 30% irrigation severe stress level

Plots treated with StimBlue+ showed consistent better values than correspondent control plots. StimBlue+ significantly increased the yield by 15-16%.

WEIGHT PER FRUIT

• ‍‍At 100% irrigation, plots treated with StimBlue+ did 9% better than control;
• At 70% irrigation, plots treated with StimBlue+ did 3.8% better than control;
• At 30% irrigation, plots treated with StimBlue+ did 7.3% better than control

FRUIT COUNT

• At 100% irrigation, plots treated with StimBlue+ did 6.1% better than control;
• At 70% irrigation, plots treated with StimBlue+ did 12.7% better than control;
• At 30% irrigation, no differences between the treatments.
